70 degrees
A bad start to the day, with my train being terminated short at Willesden Junction for an unknown (at the time) reason. I eventually arrived at work over an hour late.
At least I was able to balance things up by leaving early. The trains were still suspended (and remained so until after 6PM, making it a 12 hour suspension), so another diversion to get home.
I had to leave early as today was the first of a series of tests to try to find out the cause of my little adventure into the world of the NHS on 18th April.
This was for a tilt test, I was strapped to a bed, the lights were dimmed (don't tell Jeremy Hunt, but John Whittingdale would pay money for that!) and the bed was tilted to an angle of 70 degrees, where I stayed for 20 minutes. Not allowed to sleep or talk, and the only reading material was a "Fire Exit Keep Clear" sign on the wall.
No alarms went off while I was tilted, so I'm not a pinball machine! Nothing abnormal showed up, so on to the next test soon.
