It is a good job the word already exists, because there would of been a few people out there stumped at the appearance of the old currant bun. The sunshine has a way of lifting spirits, but for a photographer it can cause havoc in the exposure department. The extremes of contrast one can come across in a scene can be incredible;-just like this photograph. This is where B&W comes and saves the day.
Took me awhile to realise what this worker was actually doing. He filling up these barriers with water to give them a bit of weight. Some of his colleagues were using sand the other week. Different strokes for different folks.
