Reach for the sky

Headed into Edinburgh this afternoon for some last minute shopping for our holiday – essentials such as sports socks; blister pads; imodium; clean underwear; knotted handkerchief, paracetemol etc. We stopped in South Queensferry on the way back home for a fishy meal at the Boathouse. Beer battered haddock and chips for me washed down with Irn Bru. Classic!

Couldn't resist adding an extra of the sign at the Scott Monument that supplied the title of today's blip. It seems the Council can't make up its mind. The tourists are confused enough already. This sort of thing will only make it worse for them.
