Sunset

Beautiful sunset this evening - taken from my back garden.

My turn to be host tonight for lace group - busy making cakes yesterday and recently purchased from eBay a trivial pursuit deluxe edition - so all set for tonight. The deluxe version gives you easy/medium/hard questions for each section (colour) so adds to the fun (all I wanted was a low number!). A great evening of laughter and chat - recently one of our group has been bereaved so tonight was an opportunity to enjoy a regular Monday fun with friends :)

A "bitty" day at work - you know, doing a bit of this, and a bit of that not getting your teeth into anything in particular. Still trying to manage my day on "intake", whilst initially my role was undertaking safeguarding visits this has been added to by also doing intake visits. There was also mention of us continuing this role whilst doing our 3 month stint as hospital social worker - feels like too many hats!!! Hopefully it will be sorted soon as it is causing some blurring of the good relationship we have built up with our OT colleagues ..........We are a very good team, of longstanding employees, all very good at their jobs and dedicated staff - it would be their (local authority) loss if it causes people to look elsewhere (although the grass is not always greener on the other side).
