Mono Monday 121 Thoughts of further work...

...fell by the wayside, when the sun came out late this afternoon and beers on the patio beckoned.

Today Violet spent the day with us while her Mummy worked.  She was a very tired little girl after her exciting days away and would happily have had two naps if given the chance. My extra shows her falling by the wayside after her lunch.

Meanwhile Mr MC and I  (assisted by the son) soldiered on clearing the dining room ready for The Carpet Fitting, due to take place tomorrow. By late afternoon, the sun was glorious and the air warm so Mr MC and the son took a well deserved drinks break instead.

In other news: Zeus09sMum received positive news about her ankle in that it is healing very well.  She just has to learn to walk unassisted again now, so that she can once again brave commuting on the Underground in a few weeks time!
