Boring last minute blip

This could probably be the most boring blip to date but I didn't have time to do anything else. Actually I quite like the texture of the bricks.

What exactly is the point of them? Were they windows at one stage then bricked up or is it purely decorative?

Took the munchkin to the park today to meet my friend and her little boy who is the same age.

Completely unprompted my little angel walked over to the grass, picked a daisy and gave it to my friend. He picked about five in the end.
Mummy didn't get one though :(
