Emerging Kangaroo Paw

All the signs are here for another wonderful season of native flowers.  I have this small Kangaroo Paw in a terra cotta pot in my courtyard and was delighted to see it beginning to produce its fascinating blooms once again.
These are still quite small, but I have managed to pick up some detail and I especially love the raindrops clinging to the furry surface.  My extra is just to give you a clearer picture of the plant itself.
