And the winner is.....

No one! No one guessed the secret ingredient of the mystery cake when a local Women's Institute visited Transition Cafe. 

Which is odd as it's a very old trick that dates back to 1920s and you can find out about it here.

It was delicious! And a recent donation of the required ingredient means we will be able to continue mystifying our customers for some time to come.
