Summer, a friend, and ice cream

This is my friend Marianna. The ice cream in her left hand (so the one on the right) is mine, I love pistachio. Hers is hazelnut-ice cream. We had dinner at a tapas-restaurant where we pretended to be sitting on a terrace in Spain (the weather was very nice today, so it actually worked). And the restaurant happened to be situated next to the best ice cream shop in Utrecht, where we bought our dessert.

It was nice to catch up with a friend I don't see very much anymore. We met when we were studying anthropology together, and since then our lives have developed in very diferent ways. So it's great to notice that we can be friends, even though we don't see each other very often, or very regular.
