Early - purple Orchid

Several years ago when I was doing some volunteer photography for the National Trust I came across one of these on a grass area next to Lamberts Castle car park.  This year there are dozen of them growing in the same spot which pleased me as normally they get flattened by cars parking there or the area is cut by the rangers  who mow the area.
