Do any of you remember these?

Spotted this at a restaurant and I was immediately taken back to when I was growing up, my parents used to have these. GadgetKid will remember!!!

It really reminded me of being at home and Martin remembers having some when he was younger too. Straw coasters/pot rests. Did anyone else grow up with these on their dining tables?

Martin arrived safely last night and I love it when we are all together as a family again. He went into town to meet a friend who's in town from Oz. And I met up with Pam and Minna for a very impromptu, lovely dinner. I am blessed with some amazing friends.

It has been a very social week! I'm not complaining, just appreciating the good friends I have :)
