yet another 50th

went to yet another 50th party today. most of the hubbie's old gang have 'turned'. this one in gloucestershire, so three hr drive each way.
thank goodness for friends that will have your children overnight and all day too!

lovely to see everyone, but party included birthday boy's family members i'd not seen in years and years. it's always shocking to see people you remember as toddlers as grownups in their twenties. one of them is in the navy for heavens sake!
