Norway Day
Well it's not been much of a day, rainy for the most of it but not too heavy and been able to move about in it :)
I've had a busy day in the office scanning old slides from the 1960s. Some interesting shots from various parts of Shetland. I enjoyed a lunchtime walk and noticed a small cruise liner in Lerwick, the Ocean Endeavor. She was used as an oil men accommodation vessel in 2014, thankfully no oil men came back :) Got the caravan out of storage tonight. Scrubbed clean and ready for summer adventures :) Off to work in the pub tonight.
With Shetland's strong connections to Norway, you'll spot a lot of Norwegian flags over the isles and even more so on Norway Day. Here at the town hall, the flag flies high over Lerwick. Hope to have another busy summer with our neighbours popping over :) Taken from the Hillhead, Lerwick.
