Which came first...?

The wall or the tree?
We did the first of our Upland Farming Bird Surveys today, at least, most of it! This estate, which includes some of our survey fields, has been in the same family for over 700 years. I wonder when the tree was planted, or began to grow, and when the wall was first built.
