Massive

I found it hard to select a blip today as we have been walking in Dorset and have seen so many lovely insects and plants.
However, knowing that a lot of you blippers are Scottish,( including Blipfoto of course!) I thought I would blip this massive thistle just flowering - it is the size of a cricket ball and has a few little brown beetles exploring it.
All the wild flowers seem to have done spectacularly well with all this rain and it will be lovely for all the birds to feed on all the seeds if we have a hard winter.
