Family

A small sculpture in terracotta clay.  I tried to minimise detail and still keep the essence of the bond between mother, father and child.  I wanted them to represent a sort of pyramid of strength. It was quite difficult for me because I'm an illustrator at heart and love detail.  I've always found a hole in a sculpture intriguing so wanted to include that. A good challenge..
