the kingdom of Hay is kindleless

I've only been to Hay in Festival time, so it was a charming revelation to find room in the shops and pubs. No-one was selling newpapers and drinks from their front garden either!
Two of the party had gone to visit an acquaintance near by, but the rest of us had a good look round Hay. In the evening we went to Brecon for an excellent dinner at the theatre restaurant, the Tipple and Tiffin.
