Graduation Day

A lovely day of celebration for many people. We started off with breakfast and then met up to attend the graduation ceremony. A lot of people crossed the stage today - graduates from the School of Architecture and Design and from the School of Law.  We clapped everyone. I was astonished that four people in front of us (a set of parents and grandparents) didn't clap for anyone except their child/grandchild.  I thought that was very churlish.

Mum, Dave and I flew home after some drinks and snacks with Mark.  Flight was good until we got to the final approach in Christchurch and the pilot aborted the landing due to wind shear and came around again.  Always a bit scary!

Nice to be home and looking forward to my bed.
