A trick of the light...

It seems that this lilac bush is producing three very different colors at the same time.....but it's just a trick of the early morning light.

This was taken out my daughter's kitchen window, so it isn't really wild...but the variation in color that my eye is seeing seems pretty wild to me.....

Grandpa woke Sanibel up for school this morning with "Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers"....something he used to do when he woke our daughter many, many moons ago.....and she loved it!    She woke with a smile and danced out to the breakfast table, and then held hands with Grandpa as they walked to school together.   No wonder he likes being retired!!!   Wednesday mornings are their special time together.
