The Cross

The Windy Post Cross, just north of Pew Tor, stands out in an otherwise bleak landscape. Apparently it's location is close to the Abbots Way and a Jobbers path so maybe back in the day the place was frequented by more than dog walkers and sheep. I've uploaded a second picture which shows it in it's environment, next to the Leat with a helpful sign stating " DRINKING WATER SUPLLY. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH OR POLLUTE IN ANY WAY". 
I sure hope Devonshire sheep can read :)
