Wagtails and Water

I never expected to photograph these "aerobatic" little birds which were catching insects in the air today. The Pied Wagtail (see extra) posed on a rock and I was happy with that as a "first" for me. Then leaving the river, I saw flashes of yellow. Yellow, whoops sorry, grey, wagtails, I didn't even know they existed. Two "firsts" in half an hour!

The second extra, David's Deer, was taken by David out of the car window on the way to the café this morning. We disturbed her breakfast.
