Storm clouds

Here is my amaryllis against a brooding wild sky. We’ve had a day of very heavy showers boarding on flash floods.
So this is my contribution to Wild Wednesday.
 
So I need not have bothered watering the garden….
 
John Gray, my next-door neighbour, celebrated his 90th birthday last week and I sent this Blipfoto into our local paper, the Stirling Observer.

So I was very pleased to open the paper this morning and to see it there.
 
Moreover, John is delighted. And he is busy Skyping his family in Holland to tell them.
