My new crew. I was so busy telling each and every one of them that they were gorgeous that I didn't notice Beth had run half a mile down the hill, scared witless at these fantastic beasts of the northern wild, the barbed wire fence giving her no reassurance.

In other news the chuckies arrived. Hooray! They are orange. Pants! This is unexpected. You can probably see my path from space. I also didn't order enough. This was not so unexpected. Also, just whose stupid idea was it to lay a gravel path with two large dugs who like digging and skidding and scattering stones and....
