Leith Street
We were all up and out in good time this morning, which rarely happens nowadays! At work we spent some time this morning trying to work out how we can used Skype for Business (which has just been installed on all our PCs), when our PCs don’t have webcams and we don’t have proper headsets. A colleague followed this up with the team who are rolling it out and was informed that business areas need to make their own provision of these vital accessories. Somehow this sounds like another initiative that may not meet its full potential across the organisation, as it really hasn’t been properly thought through.
Getting home tonight proved to be a challenge due to an incident on the line. Luckily I managed to track down a friend who was able to collect BB for me, as I was very late.
In between sorting out tea, I have been helping BB do his homework which was to design a poster for World Earth Day.
I managed to pop out very briefly at lunchtime to do an errand in John Lewis. Here’s a view up Leith Street from that bridge.
