Evening scene

I was on the photography club's evening summer programme meeting, where they meet at various locations, go for a walk and then a meal.  Today we were walking around a local common where the light on this Oak tree caught my attention.

It was fortunate I had an evening outing as I had been on the local walking group's walk during the day and my compact camera was refusing to work.  The walk itself was good and managed to dodge may of the showers walking through woods still full of bluebells and climbing hills with good views.  In all a long but enjoyable day.
