Anniversary stroll along the waterfront

Today we celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. Busy day at work followed by a walk down to Lake Ontario and a casual and fun dinner at the Amsterdam Brewhouse. Great beer and food, cool setting with bikes hanging from 2 story ceilings. It was really nice to sit, nibble and relax. My sweetie enjoyed a flight of in house beers. I took alot of photos this evening from the oyster shucker at the bar, to the sparkler in the chocolate torte to the CN Tower but I loved this shot of the marina, amphitheatre and lake the best - the water reflects a gorgeous blue sky. We were lucky it was a relatively quiet night downtown with only a Blue Jays baseball game and a Justin Bieber concert. Lately the Raptors basketball team had been competing in the playoffs making for alot of crazy! They had tonight off. We will be celebrating our anniversary this weekend at a cottage up north of the city at a spa and resort so this was a nice low key evening. We hear that we are heading in to a spell of great weather - sunshine and warmth over the next week! We so deserve it after the last 2 cold months.
