First Star

First time in over 20 years I have had control of both f'stops and shutter along with ISO. This means there is a lot of dredging through the old memory banks (and lets face it that is not easy for a male) along with lots of new things to learn.
I was up late watching the Hobbit movie so after I thought I'd try a star shot. Seems like there is far to much unwanted light in the big smoke so will have to wait for a drive in the countryside. besides the damp grass was very cold under foot, maybe some socks and shoes next time?
