The Bluegums

This afternoon I visited our friends who live alongside the Opawa River. They had offered me more Feijoas which I gladly accepted. Some more Feijoa Chutney is now planned. Maisie, our Labradoodle pup and I enjoyed a walk along the stopbank. The Bluegum trees are quite a landmark in this area. Tonight I and friend Joe attended a meeting of Forest and Bird to see bird photographer, Steve Attwood's lively presentation on the birdlife of braided rivers... Most informative and interesting.
