Utter chaos

Left early to visit the new exhibition at the British Museum - Egyptian Sunken Cities. Green peace activists got there even earlier and scaled the columns in protest at BP's sponsorship of the exhibition. They claim it diverts attention away from its 'polluting' practices. Stayed around for three quarters of an hour watching school buses disgorge children on to crowded pavements full of totally bemused tourists. The museum's doors remained locked. I trotted off to have coffee and cake in the Wellcome Museum down the road. Popped in to see their latest exhibition 'This is a Voice' Just awful and a nowhere to escape the cacophony of voices, screams and hideous noises. Not a good day. Glad to get home to my tuneful starlings!!!
