Swift Tern (Sterna bergii)

A lovely sight in the sky, a Swift Tern with those beautiful angular wings. How they can see a fish swimming, track it and then spear it I do not know, all I know is they are very swift and so very well named. Thank you fir your interest in my Bee-eater, sadĺy they have not turned up in the garden for two days, so I am slightly worried about them. The extra is of the sky over our little group of villas, it has recently been repainted all white and the pool restored, the water is even chilled now! So even though you cannot walk on or touch anything around the pool because it will burn you ( I am not joking) swimming is a joy in the evening with the pool lit and Crag Martins swooping down for insects and a flying drink! So I shouldn't really complain about the heat. The wide angle shot is taken with my Tokina 16-24mm f2.8 and is an incredible lens for the money.
