OYEZ,OYEZ,OYEZ

Just come back from a really good session at the Cub pack night. To earn a special new century Challenge Badge (Scouting was 100 last year) we have to put together a programme of activities that spell out NEW CENTURY. We got a bit stuck on Y but a bit of brain storming over beer at a planning session we came up we YELL. Town Crier's yell so we invited Preston's Town Crier down for the evening. For those of you who don't know what a Town Crier is they date back to medieval times and read out the news or proclamations and every town had one. The Cubs loved it and all had a go ringing out the bell and dressing up and shouting out a message.
