Shutty Gets A Face-Lift!

Today I saw all these smart looking people gathering outside the Shuttleworth House flats. They didn't look like typical residents. Nor did they look like police!

I wondered what was happening, and so I looked online when I arrived home, and found that the Mayor was there to unveil a plaque to commemorate the opening of the newly refurbished flats.

They have fitted a new greener and significantly more economical biomass heating system which will save the residents money (Maybe we should all switch to this...) They also have put in new insulation and ventilation systems, and replaced windows and balcony doors. The whole thing cost £3.2m!
