Cairns and north

I got an early flight to Cairns and collected my camper van which I had rented for 16 days at a really cheap price. It took about an hour to fill in all the paperwork and then I was on my way in my new home!

I drove north up to Daintree Rainforest, catching the small car ferry across a river and up in to the dense rainforest. It was ridiculously humid. I had a lot of trouble getting to sleep because I was sweating, even with the windows open.
