Gentleman Jack

A busy morning involving meetings w/people which may lead to some interesting opportunities in the next wee while.

In the evening, I called round to Eric to deliver a bottle of bourbon (not a wide range available here in Mexico) to him. He'd originally asked for Buffalo Trace, which I'd found in Brooklyn. However, due to a mix up when repacking our suitcases at the the airport, because some were overweight, I ended up bringing the bottle w/me in my hand luggage and it got confiscated.

We changed flights at Houston and I managed to get a bottle of Gentleman Jack bourbon for him, not the same, but better than nothing.

At one stage we were expelled from Eric's flat by his smoke-hating girlfriend and ended in a flat upstairs w/some pals of Eric: Nacho (who is the drummer in the same band as Eric) & Luz and their dog, Tomasa.

Quite a bit of the bourbon disappeared over the course of the chatty evening and then we finished w/a couple of Speciality Beers (Japaneses, English & German) each at a nice, little bar close by. Discussed the possibility of doing some filming w/his band, which could be very interesting.

Tomorrow will be the 1st hangover I've had in a very long time. I will have forgotten how much it hurts!!
