The Kelpies

I have wanted to see the kelpies for a long time but never had an opportunity until today, when I was in the area for a work related reason. Even though I have seen photos and passed them on the motorway, I was gobsmacked by them. They are spectacular. It was a very dreich and overcast evening, but maybe that just adds to the atmosphere. The extra shows their scale.
It seems to be a horse theme for me this week!
