and it's goodnight from him

A sad day as I had to take the canine +1 off to the vet this morning for the last time. A massive tumour uncovered while he was having his spring haircut last weekend (he was very overgrown) led to some tests that discovered an aggressive form of cancer. It was only a matter of time. 

The vets were great. I got to stay with Daniel (yes... Daniel the Spaniel) throughout and they gave me some time afterwards with him. There were tears.

He was undoubtedly the worst trained, most well fed on stolen socks dog that has lived but a lovely, good natured dog too. We'll all miss him.
