Magnolia.
As the weather was forecast to deteriorate in the afternoon we worked in the garden during the morning. Believe it or not we are still removing some things which are clearly the result of Storm Desmond. I had thought we had finished that a while ago but poking about under the conifers brought out yet more detritus to get rid of. Thankfully the garden waste recycling is collected tomorrow.
I spent the afternoon paper shuffling from previous meetings and preparing for another tomorrow. A busy day coupled with a little lack of inspiration/enthusiasm found me wandering round the garden after the evening meal looking for something to blip.
Last year we planted a Magnolia to replace a Malus damaged by our neighbour building a wall. Well to be more correct he replaced the Malus by paying for the Magnolia. It is now fully in bloom, not many flowers as it is still a very young tree. This shot is looking down into the flower.
