It's a shame that every time someone mentions 'a beautiful day' I think of the rather irritating U2 song, but today really was just that. Beautiful, not irritating.

Had a great morning reading El País, listening to RNE Exterior in the sun and generally enjoying the great weather. It was a fantastic example of a cold front - as you looked at the weather (or travelled, like Marek) between England and Scotland, you went through about a 10 degree difference and from brilliant sun to rain.

Far down south in Bath we were in no risk of a change, and I cycled the 10 miles or so to Hinton to chill with Tom and Becky, before cycling home to meet up with dad for a driving lesson - picking Jesse up from Hinton where he was having a BBQ.

Amazingly beautiful around Bath this evening - here you can see the view from the road, with the moon just about visible. The sunset was amazing over the plains to Bristol, but my cameraphone's too shit to take it.
