A walk along Compton Bay

This is the wreck of the Carbon formerly the tug John Holloway built in 1900 and destined to serve in the British navy until 1947 at which time on tow round the south of the IoW it broke free and ran aground on Compton beach where she has layed ever since lower photo for comparison
