Aaaarrr, me beauties…….

……I happened to run alongside o' Cap'n Raggy Beard down by the bay this mornin' just afore the sun was over the yardarm, he was a waitin' of a fresh boatload of apprentice pirates (OK, so maybe it was really a coachload of school kids from South Shields!) for a day of advanced cutlass training and story-telling down on the beach…..lovely chap, and a very entertaining quarter of an hour gossip it was too while he waited for his new conscripts to arrive. Shiver me timbers, he even agreed to pose;-) 
(it's hard to believe he used to be a bank manager in a previous life…..and was terrified of Santa Claus when he was a bairn…..and when he's 'out of costume' he keeps himself to himself;-))
