Landscape with dog shit bin

Old Church Road, Water Orton, Warwickshire

Spent an overcast evening trundling the bank of the River Tame at Water Orton, a place bound to the south and east by the sprawling M6, M6 Toll and M42 network. My course took me towards the former Hams Hall Power Station and ended beneath the motorway.

The oldest part of Water Orton is found along Old Church Road, where there are homes built as long ago as the 14th century. This is from the end of the road, showing modern street furniture, access to the river and a view towards Hams Hall.
