There'll be dancing in the streets ...

There is a comic Scottish quote that starts that way and the line occurred to me on Gourock pier this evening , hurrying for the boat to Dunoon.

This is the head office of Cal Mac who today won the tender for the Clyde and Hebridean ferry services for the next eight years - a cause for major celebration in many of the communities I represent.

I thought there might be a bit of dancing on this pier - but no sign of it !
