In between

I walked in the door at 7.35 tonight.

I'm fed, watered, showered and feeling some what restored. Happily I'm watching the first in the series 'First Crossings' where a couple of guys relive significant crossings undertaken by early European settlers. Wish I'd thought of the idea (but glad I'm not doing them with 19th century food and gear).

On the left we have the Rutherford Building, an example of grey concrete in Stalinist style. On the right we have the newer Erskine building. On a monotone kind of day with cold drizzle there wasn't a lot of difference.

Indeed a long day but on the up side, I'll be leaving work very early tomorrow. And that's a good thing as I'll be celebrating a significant anniversary :-)
