De-junking

Found in the underbed storage and not seen the light of day for many years even though they "might be useful one day".  He hasn't the heart to throw them away but nobody seems to want them.  I suggested he packs them up again and lets somebody else get rid of them when we are no longer able to be upset.  Any other suggestions?
