One of the casting offices I audition at is in an old converted factory. These old freight elevators are still in use. A novelty among relics. There are still remnants of Art Deco finery in the entrance way, and stairwells. I'm sure it'll be bulldozed and condo development will replace it in the near future. Every casting director I know has moved offices in the past year. All of them. Sign of the times. I remember US Nationals and triple scale auditions for commercials. Those days are gone.
