Fromages
Another grey cool day but at least the rain held off and it brightened and warmed up in the afternoon. We paid a visit to the local cheese factory, open for sales only on Fridays and Saturday morning.
When we were here 8 years ago the sales took place in a small kcal shop with queues going back out to the street. It was all very "rustique". Sales are now in a much more modern foyer. But the cheeses remain as varied and tasty as ever. They even produce one named after the local village. Parisians drive out here to get their cheese. This is one of the three counters.
A visit to a local restaurant for an evening meal rounded off the day nicely.
The extra is of a local field: a lovely horse.
