Taking the risk!

We are taking the risk with the deck staining. It is supposed to have 24 hours without rain to dry and we are hoping that all will be well. Who knows? We have had such weird weather this year. Some years we can go two months and more with no rain at all and we worry about drought. This year is just the opposite. It seems that this is true in many places in the northern hemisphere. I have just had a letter from a friend who lives in Scotland and they have just had a holiday on a narrow boat in France and they had rain every day but one! Nothing to be done about all this! Remember the time when "they" tried to seed clouds and make rain?
