Community Supported Agriculture

We used to belong to a CSA farm in Ann Arbor; we are delighted to belong to one again. The idea is simple: you give a farmer a set amount of money for crops throughout the growing season. In return, you pick up a share of vegetables every week. It could happen, that nothing grows all season long and you lose your money, but it is not very likely. :-)

These beauties accompanied stewed kale greens.
