The sun has got his hat on!

I could not stay in this area for a week without including a sunflower shot in my Journal. Today we photographed the gates to Vianne and an old bridge leading from the village. We had our lunch, complete with picnic tables, cloths etc (what luxury!) under the shade of a tree by the river, much to the amusement of the locals.

Then we drove along country roads and stopped at more than one sunflower field. It's not so easy to get a good picture because a lot of the flower heads are tilted over and therefore partly in shade. This brave flower held its head high.
