Clan Gathering

After stopping in at school to help with the ball clean up this morning, I headed into Timaru to buy an armchair.  My living room is a lot smaller than the one in my last house, so my bookcases won't fit.  There is a built in bookcase on one wall, which I have filled but . . . .

What I do have is an additional bedroom, so I've been forced to turn it into my personal 'reading room' or library.  Which meant I needed a new chair.  

I dropped down to Caroline Bay on my way home, which was deserted to thanks to the grotty weather.  Only the seagulls were about.

After I'd frozen myself down on the beach I felt I'd earned a decent late lunch so went to an excellent Japanese restaurant that I was introduced to a couple of weeks ago.  I can see that becoming a regular part of trips to Timaru.
